Science postgraduate studies as a important form of professional perfection has been created at the Odessa State Musical Academy named after Nezdanova in 2002. Now the postgraduate studies has three aspects of education: science postgraduate studies; creative postgraduate studies (from 1992); and candidates of science degree of 'candidate of art history'.

          Candidates are attaching to postgraduate studies for passing exams (philosophy, foreign language and main subject) and for preparation and passing a viva (until fine years).
